Significant factors for Work Place Motivation

For all of organizations ultimate goal would be the profits. Either products or service providers, their desire would be the more profits (Tuffly 2017). With the organization’s comprehensive business plans, people management is the more necessary to doing with the proper structure (Sugar 2015). At that point motivation plan would be the efficient one. Based on the observations people’s needs, desires or expectations are most important to within the workplace (Alanzi 2018). Hence the workplace motivation is the main process which implement by HR sector all over the organizations. Because of that the employee’s willingness for the organization process and its culture is more required for the company development. ”There are many motivation theories in existence, but matching those theories to real human remain an art form. To understand motivation one to understand human nature itself” (Richardson 2014).

According to Alanzi (2018), figure 1.0 is explained as below

·       Not Able / Not Willing – Lack of intrinsic motivation and not enough competency level for fulfill the assigned works. Based on the organization which I work, there are these types of sales people as nil performers. They are not generated any new business and not hit the targets. Appear only as a head count for each branch. But the training and development needs are provided by the company for them to develop their skills and motive level.
·       Able / Not willing – Intrinsic motivation level is very law but high capacity of skills and knowledge. These kinds of sales people have more complaints and grievances. Doing some kind of businesses but consistency is very poor. Special motivational trainings from outside trainers are provided for these kinds of sales peoples.
·       Not Able / Willing – Hard workers and good motivators. But skill levels are very low. These sales peoples have good official attitudes and behaviors. Like attendance, punctuality and team works are in competitive levels but selling skills are poor. With identified these sales people, they are provided technical sales module for better knowledge.
·       Able / willing – Skillful and well-motivated peoples. These are the core sales people for the organization and role models for others. Based on my organization, they are the good performers for the company. Willing to have more challenges. These kind sales peoples are recognized by the company. Not only that those extrinsic rewards also provided for them to keep them actively for the company.
Based on above state human behavior observation and understanding is the thing that necessarily should happen within all work places. People motivated depend on their own feelings and need fulfillment. Organizations should have a capacity to provide essentials for their employees to them encourage to works. These motivated souls are united with can do mind and workplace engagement (Pulakos and Kaiser 2020). That is the principle affair for the employee motivation to very organization when going towards profits. Hence all organizations utilized a proper mechanism to motivate people to get moved for right direction (Tan 2013).There are numerous motivation factors to influence people to do what management want. Each organizations used these factors in various ways on varies time frame. It is very important to canvass motivation factors within the organization for better culture development (Candias & Bernaert 2017).

Identify the workplace motivation
Motivated people are important to organizations productivity and competitive advantages. These people highly engaged with organization culture and work procedures. Based on these aspects there are four significant factors for workplace motivation (Tracy 2019).
Leadership / Management – “An organizational culture is a reflection of its leader’s culture” (Gallo & Hlupic 2019). Leadership is a key factor for the workplace motivation. Acceleration of the organization process is on leaders behaviors. Because the conveyance of employee towards organization goal is doing by leaders or managers of the company. Leadership or Management could be varying based on responsibilities, department or organizational culture, though it difference with any reason, people should have convenient with the management (Roach 2019).
Rewards – People work for the company because of their income. Based on that theory every company provides the salary and other benefits for their employees.  But not at the all the time employees want willing to have tangible benefits. It could be either tangible or intangible rewards based on employees willing (Staley 2017). Employee should be approach based on intrinsic or extrinsic rewards types. For this process the observation of correct employee, to whom wanted to appreciation or to whom wanted to incentives is more significant to HR team. With consideration of those all influential things should be launched a proper rewards structure through organization for appreciable motivational culture (Diamandis 2015).
Organization Climate / Culture – Best place to work is the best magic potion for the people’s motivation (Hasib 2014). Attractive working environment, Organization culture, excellent procedures and service are motivated the people to work effectively (Huffington and Doraiswamy 2017). Learning and development culture, Innovative opportunities and hassle free working process are developed the employee’s skills and competencies. Assure of the wholesome working environment through the workplace is beneficial for its own preservation. The organization process critically depends on employee’s motivation. With here organizational climate/culture accomplished the main role for their motivation (Franco et al 2002).
Working Structure – Workplace structure is more significant to who work with the organization (Parekh 2020). Employee engagement level is increased or decreased depend on organization structure. Reputed organization are tried to build up more attractive structure for the all organization process. Specially job design, reporting levels, goals, performance evaluations and other operations should be standardized and routines. For effective organization, these proper working structures would make the organization more interesting and enjoyable for employees (Yoon 2001).

Importance of Motivation within the sales people of the organization which I work
The company also which I work based on sales and mainly subsist on customers approach. With this process it is very important to involvement of these sales agents. To keep these people on their sales track motivation would be the main fact. The considerable thing is the organization should adhere with these motivational factors and organized the motivation culture within company. The organization which I work used these factors effectively to motivate people on proper manner. The management is preserved the proper communication with all sales staff and consider their performance levels using with two way communication methods (Management to sales force and sales force to management). And build up the deep connectivity with sales peoples with using the more democratic and situational leadership models. Let these people to use their skills to do sales and proper rewarding structure used for motivate sales peoples. These are based on their performance and skill levels. Accordingly they are rewarded with appreciation and recognitions. Management use some tactical tiny things to appreciate sales force likewise small gifts, cash awards, region wise events, some special events (Dinner with MD, Prime Circle gathering) to keep people on motivate. Like that the organization culture also set for these people. Consider on sales people as main resource of the company, they got significant value based on that. Within the organization HR plan and other processes more consider this sales oriented culture. Specially marketing plans, HR strategies implemented based on sales force. Organization events also conducting through these sales people and much portion of annual budget allocated to continue this sales culture. Just like the organization structure also depending with sales people. Proper sales force structure preserving for employees and observed the weaknesses and strength of that structure. For better sales force, let sales people to ascent through the carrier path and use this properly as important motivational fact.
